From Hello to Gallery
Here’s exactly what the process looks like, from your first message to your finished gallery.
Fill out the contact form with a little info about your family and what you’re hoping to capture. Don’t worry about having it all figured out — that’s what I’m here for. I’ll respond within 48 hours to confirm availability and answer any questions.
Once we settle on the right date and package, you’ll receive a simple contract and a 25% retainer to hold your spot. After that, we will communicate on a location that fits your vision, and never be afraid to ask about outfit advice. I am here to help you!
I’ll give gentle prompts and direction when needed, but mostly I’m watching for the real stuff — the giggles, the sneaky glances, the moments you can’t fake. Kids are not expected to be perfectly still. Chaos is welcome.
I carefully edit each image and deliver your finished gallery via your private online portal. You’ll receive an email with your login link, where you can view, download, and share your photos. Your gallery includes a full print release so you can print anywhere you’d like.
Download your favorites, print them big, and put them on your walls. I believe photos are meant to be seen, not just stored on a hard drive.
Good to Know
A few things I want every family to know before they book.
I follow their lead. If they want to chase a butterfly instead of look at the camera, we chase the butterfly. The best shots come from real moments, not forced smiles.
I always build buffer time into sessions. Diaper blowouts, meltdowns, and wardrobe changes happen — and that’s completely okay. We won’t be rushed.
Your photos are delivered to a password-protected client portal. Only you (and anyone you share the link with) can access your gallery.
Every session includes a full personal print release. Print at your local lab, Costco, or any online printer. I’ll also recommend my favorite print labs if you want professional quality.
Kansas City weather is unpredictable. If weather threatens our session, I’ll always give you the option to reschedule at no charge. Your retainer transfers to your new date.
I get it. Getting everyone dressed, out the door, and cooperative for photos is a workout. I come prepared with patience, a backup plan, and zero judgment.
